Most shots in the clip were cut from scene to scene. There was a high angle shot when Tom Hanks tells Denzel Washington that he has AIDs, to show how he backs away and his obvious distaste for him. Most movement was done with tracking, and paning. Close shots were used to show the reactions, and to intensify a scene or emotion.
